The Alexandria Housing Development Corporation (AHDC) is a non-profit developer and owner of affordable housing, primarily focused on projects located in the City of Alexandria, Virginia.
Mission and Goal: AHDC's mission is to preserve and produce affordable rental and for-sale housing for low and moderate income households. The organization's goal is to make it possible for income-eligible individuals and families to obtain safe, high-quality housing and to help build supportive communities in which to live.

AHDC News Alert! The City of Alexandria has just won an Award for Excellence for Public-Private Partnerships from the U.S. Conference of Mayors for The Station at Potomac Yard, AHDC's innovative mixed-use project. Construction is getting underway at The Station which is part of the overall Potomac Yard project being developed on the former railroad yard. The ground breaking ceremony was held on Saturday, December 15. Check out the main AHDC's Projects as well as The Station page to learn more about this exciting new affordable housing project.
