Housing over a fire station? Construction is well underway at The Station at Potomac Yard, AHDC's innovative mixed-use project combining affordable housing, retail, and a fire station, as part of the overall Potomac Yard project being developed on the former railroad yard. The "topping out" is happening in June which means that all the concrete work is finished and construction is starting on the residential part of the project. This is AHDC's first low income housing tax credit project. Here are some of our board members (Danny Abramson, Lindsey Vick, and Kerry Donley) at the "Topping Out" Party on June 20.

More affordable housing at Potomac Yard! The developers of the Potomac Yard project are also conveying title to four condominium units in Landbay H to the City of Alexandria as a voluntary affordable housing contribution. These units will be transferred to AHDC and rented as affordable housing. Check out the PY 4 Units page to learn more about this project.
