 Arbelo, Lacy Court, and Longview Terrace

| AHDC is excited about its three new apartment communities in the City of Alexandria. These three properties - Arbelo, Lacy Court, and Longview Terrace - will add 119 more units to the sixty five that AHDC presently owns. The properties are all well-maintained low-rise buildings with spacious units built during the 1950's and early '60's, located in residential neighborhoods throughout the City. Danny Abramson, President of AHDC's Board says," Our nonprofit development organization is excited by the opportunity to expand AHDC's portfolio. We appreciate the City Council's support on this and we're eager to work with the residents, our property management firm, and the Alexandria community to create a positive, living environment for everyone."
Long range plans for the three communities include rehabilitation and preservation as affordable rental housing. All three properties are being leased and managed for AHDC by Equity Management. Arbelo Apartments
| The Arbelo Apartment Community is located in Northeast Alexandria in the quaint Dempsey neighborhood at 831-833 Bashford Lane. It is close to Potomac Yard and Old Town, less than a mile to the Braddock Metro Station, and walking distance from great restaurants, shops, cafés and much more. These well maintained, 1950's low rise apartments are complete with spacious units, hardwood floors, fully equipped kitchens, onsite laundry facilities, off street parking and have controlled access.
The Arbelo community has 34 total units - 20 two-bedrooms, six one-bedrooms, and eight efficiencies. |

Lacy Court Apartments
| The Lacy Court Apartment Community is located in the Del Ray area of Alexandria at 4-8 Nelson Avenue and 1502-1526 Commonwealth Avenue. It is next door to the many shops, cafes, and restaurants in Del Ray, close to Old Town, and walking distance (one mile) to the Braddock Metro Station. These well maintained, 1950's low rise apartments are spacious, with either hardwood or carpeted floors, fully equipped kitchens, onsite laundry facilities, and off street parking.
The Lacy Court community has 44 total units - 22 three bedrooms, 13 two-bedrooms, seven one-bedrooms, and two efficiencies.

Longview Terrace Apartments
| The Longview Terrace Apartment Community sits high on a hill in the West End of Alexandria at 2900 Seay Street. It has an outstanding view of the Cameron Valley. Like Arbello and Lacy Court, Longview Terrace is close to many shops, cafes, and restaurants on nearby Duke Street, close to Old Town, and walking distance (one mile) to the King Street Metro Station. These units, built in the early 1960's, are also well maintained low rise apartments. The spacious units have balconies, fully carpeted floors, fully equipped kitchens, onsite laundry facilities, off street parking, and also have controlled access.
The Longview Terrace community has 41 total units - 32 two-bedrooms and nine one-bedrooms. |
